Superb! Great chunky, crispy, fluffy chips and a fantastic piece of fish with a light, crispy batter. I'm on a diet, so I just had the medium cod and small chips and it filled me right up. Order ahead and avoid the wait, it's worth it.
The batter on the fish is very good. It has a crunch, tends not to fall off the fish (which denotes quality) and importantly, the flavour in conjunction with the perfectly cooked cod is a real stand-out fish & chips meal. I rate The Fry Inn highly.
We had a large cod and chips, chicken bites, curry sauce and mushy peas and they were all delicious. Highly recommend! Plus the service was super friendly.
